Harry Potter Day for Room 12
Room
12 had a Harry Potter Day after we read the book Harry Potter and the
Philosophers Stone. Our hall was decorated as Diagon Alley and the Great
Hall of Hogwarts. We sat at the long table watching the movie. We made a truth potion. We
ate popcorn and sweets and people brought in bars, jellies and crisps. We had our wands that we had made, capes, ties and our wizard ID to get into the hall because there were no muggles allowed!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
From Room 12
Merry Christmas from everyone in Room 12! We decorated our classroom to celebrate the Christmas season. We had our very own fireplace by the Christmas tree and hung our stockings along the mantelpiece. We also made decorations to hang from our Christmas trees at home using lollypop sticks. On the last day of school, we had a little party and watched Home Alone. We all got Reindeer Hot Chocolate to take home for Christmas!
Our class also performed at the school assembly on Thursday the 18th of December. We performed a Christmas Medley with Room 10 for the school. We designed Christmas booklets to prepare for the performance and practiced really hard. Have a listen to our performance below! (Scroll down!)

Our Spooky Halloween Celebrations!
Room 12 really got into the Halloween spirit last week dressing up in crazy costumes. We had all sorts of costumes from Michael Jackson to zombies and vampires to ninjas! All of the costumes looked amazing but the winning costume in room 12 went to Marcel whose Skylander costume was handmade to perfection! Well done to everyone who dressed up and an extra well done to Marcel!
